Check in a Sunlight Groove anywhere in the Bay Area on Untappd this month and the Argonaut is yours: a woman with her shades pushed up, a copper lager in hand, looking like she knows exactly where the night is going. One month, one region.
You’ll meet her again on the can, where she appears in full beneath the Golden Gate. Like the bridge, she’s a symbol of the Bay, inspired by San Francisco’s psychedelic era (guess the poster reference) but brought up to date.
That instinct, to take something and remake it into something new, is the whole point of the name.
