LalBrew Pomona Modern Hybrid IPA Yeast 11g LalBrew Pomona is a hybrid yeast selected for flavour and fermentation in hop-forward beers. Named after the goddess of fruit trees, this yeast strain produces a unique and juicy flavour profile with notes of peach, citrus, and tropical fruits. This strain was developed by Lallemand's partner Escarpment Laboratories (Canada) using advanced yeast technology for fermenting high ABV and high hop content beers. The result is a fruity, stress-tolerant, and robust strain that enhances biotransformation and haze for modern IPA styles. A Hybrid Yeast Pomona was developed by crossing a highly aromatic strain with a super robust and reliable strain. Then, a process called adaptive lab evolution was used to adapt it to the unique fermentation conditions of IPA, improving biotransformation and haze.
