x Hop Burns & Black HOP East Coast IPA 5.9%

We decided to celebrate our seventh birthday by doing a series of collaborations – HOP (beer), BURNS (hot sauce) and BLACK (coffee) with some of the people who’ve been an important part of our pandemic life. First out of the gates is this sensational collaborative brew with our friends and neighbours (literally – Ian and Sally live just over the road from Jen and Glenn). The recipe was masterminded by our Peckham manager Nathan with the Brick brew team, joined by Max for the brew day. The result is everything we dreamed of – a thick and juicy, super-drinkable sub-6% East Coast IPA. Lime and grapefruit notes from Citra hops, apricot and passion fruit from Simcoe and extreme fruitiness and grape from Nelson Sauvin (OK, we had to have a Kiwi hop in there and what better than the one named after Jen’s hometown?). It’s 10/10 delish. Huge thanks to Brick and happy birthday to us!
