x Dead End Brew Machine BA Black Tusk

Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout w/ Black Treacle and Toasted Oak Brewed in collaboration with Dead End Brew Machine, this rich imperial stout is built on layers of dark, roasted and crystal malts, with 100kg of Tate & Lyle black treacle adding bittersweet notes of liquorice and caramel. The beer was conditioned on toasted PX cask staves, smoked in-house, before a portion was aged in a Royal Brackla whisky butt (approx. 450L). The result is a bold, complex stout with flavours of treacle, ripe plum, burnt caramel, oak, whisky and a subtle touch of smoke. Drink young or age, this will get weirder.
