À PROPOS DE CETTE BIÈRE

A classic Belgian Trappist dubbel with dark fruit, caramel, spice and a long dry finish. Westmalle Dubbel is one of Belgium’s benchmark Trappist dubbels, a dark, reddish brown abbey ale with rich malt depth, fruity complexity, and secondary fermentation in the bottle, highlighting its creamy head, layered flavour, and long dry aftertaste. If you enjoy traditional Belgian ales with depth and character, Westmalle Dubbel is a standout. It brings together dark fruit, special malt richness, gentle spice, and a fresh bitter edge, all with a soft mouthfeel and beautifully balanced finish. It is also bottle conditioned, which adds extra complexity and helps give the beer its classic Trappist character. Tasting Notes Aroma: Dark fruit, special malt, and subtle spice. Palate: Rich and complex with caramelised malt, fruity depth, and a gentle herbal bitterness. Finish: Long, dry, balanced, and softly bitter. About the Brewery Westmalle is one of the world’s most revered Trappist breweries, based in Belgium and brewed within the Trappist monastic tradition.
