Waterloo Triple

“Classic Belgian Triple with green apple, gentle florals, soft malt and a fresh hoppy finish.” Waterloo Triple Blonde is a classic Belgian Triple with plenty of flavour, but still a lovely smoothness through the palate. It pours bright golden with fine bubbles and a thick creamy head, opening with fresh yeast, fruit and delicate hop aromas. Green apple and lime blossom are the standout characters, backed by soft malt and gentle fruitiness. At 8% ABV it has plenty of strength and body, but the balance is excellent, with a fresh hoppy finish and just enough bitterness to keep it from feeling too sweet. Palate: Full flavoured and smooth with soft malt, fruity notes and a subtle sweetness balanced by fresh hop bitterness. The Triple Blonde is a top fermented Belgian beer that undergoes several weeks of fermentation before a second fermentation in the bottle adds extra aroma and character. It is a proper Belgian Tripel with plenty of strength and flavour, but what makes it work so well is the balance.
