The only thing older than the 400-year-old recipe is the bedrock water used to make this outstanding Swedish vodka. Noted for its clean taste, the tongue will reveal traces of grain and dried fruit. A purist will like it straight with ice, but we recommend it as the foundation for a fantastic martini. Pair it with salted fish or ricotta cheese, or, as the Swedish do, with pickled fruit and vegetables.
