IPA – American | 6% ABV Commercial Description: “Middle Aged Man In Lycra” is an homage to the weekend warriors wearing stretchy clothing and riding bikes. A new unfiltered IPA fermented with expressive ale yeast for higher ester profile than our unfiltered West Coast.Esters are compounds produced by yeast from an interaction between organic acids and alcohols during fermentation and can taste like orange, juice, and fruit.This combined with Cashmere hops (very berry forward) and Citra (tropical forward) results in a unique aroma combination we’ve not explored yet in the brewery.
