Thundercask Barrel Aged Saison 7%

Thundercask is Gipsy Hill’s third Barrel Aged release. It’s a mixed fermentation Saison aged in oak red wine barrels and pitched with a blend of house culture and Brettanomyces. After three years fermenting in barrel, Thundercask was selectively blended with the first barrel aged release – a Golden Sour Ale to achieve balance, complexity and deep drinkability. Subtly funky and delicately bitter. Expect fruity, floral and herbaceous aromas, a little pepper, spice and everything nice. It’s perfect to enjoy now…or save for an out of this world occasion.
