Farmhouse Ale – Bière de Garde | 5.8% ABV Commercial Description: The traditional amber from the famous brasserie du Nord. When poured into the glass, this institution is rather dark coppery, with a fine and discreet light beige foam. On the nose, the aromatic notes of Belgian-type yeast, close to cooked fruit, clearly emerge, almost a Rochefort Trappist… On the palate, again the notes of jammy fruit and caramel predominate. L’Ambrée d’Esquelbecq is quite sweet in the mouth, with a little effervescence. The impression is very sweet, without bitterness and surprisingly it seems strong in alcohol although it is “only” 5.8%. We therefore have in summary a very beautiful amber in the Belgian tradition brewed in the Nord department. Fans of the genre who don’t know it yet, don’t hesitate!
