The Old Cats Face

Taking the malt bill from their Northern Porter, Blackjack bolstered it with an addition of some chocolate malt to make a big full bodied, darker porter which they then hit with a blend of American ‘C’ hops to reinforce that complex malt bill with fresh piney notes. Not quite as pronounced as a Black IPA, expect the malt character to be more dominant than the hops but the fresh citrus and grassy notes really lift a deeper darker beer.
