Embrace the darkness. Winter has come. Bright Brewery’s Stubborn Russian Imperial Stout is brewed to help our Alpine comrades survive the winter freeze. This dark, warming brew draws on the old English tradition of brewing strong, roasty stouts for export to the Russian Imperial Court. As the temperature plummets towards zero in our Alpine home, we look for a hearty boost, achieved in 2019 with this rich blend of dark roasted malts, sweet layers of vanilla, and strong hits of espresso. Steeped in oak after fermentation, giving it a lusciously smooth finish, Stubborn Russian 2019 deserves to be cherished, savoured and revered.
