Tangerine – Rosewater – Fragrant A multi-vintage blend of old vine Gewürztraminer (65%) and Pinot Gris – 50% from the 2016 vintage, macerated for a lengthy eight months, 50% from from 2017 macerated for 8 days. The maceration, fermentation and ageing took place in 100-old oak barrels, without temperature control, in the Binner’s bioclimactic cellar in Alsace. Wonderfully perfumed, this has aromas of tangerines and rosewater, and flavours of rose hip, ripe apples and grapefruit. A beautiful orange wine that could easily pass as a deep and complex rosé wine too. Unfiltered, unfined, no added sulphites. Grapes: Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris
