À PROPOS DE CETTE BIÈRE

“Golden Bavarian Weissbier with fruity yeast, soft malt, fresh hops and a crisp bitter finish.” Schneider Weisse Festweisse Bottle is a bright golden wheat beer with plenty of classic Bavarian character, but a little more hop freshness than you might expect from the style. There is soft wheat malt, fruity yeast and gentle spice, followed by a fresher, more herbal hop character from Cascade and Hallertauer Tradition. At 6% ABV it has enough weight to feel generous, but the finish stays lively and refreshing rather than heavy. This is proper German Weissbier with a slightly more energetic edge. If you like traditional wheat beer but want something with a bit more hop character and a cleaner finish, Festweisse is a very easy one to recommend. Tasting Notes Aroma: Fruity yeast, soft wheat malt, gentle spice and fresh herbal hops. Palate: Smooth and full flavoured with wheat malt, ripe fruit, light spice and refreshing hop bitterness. Finish: Crisp and lively with lingering fruit, herbs and a gently bitter edge. About The Brewery Schneider Weisse has been brewing wheat beer in Bavaria since 1872 and is one of the best known names in traditional German Weissbier. Festweisse is based on an old festival beer recipe and was brought back as a brighter, more hop driven expression of the style. New Zealand Cascade and Hallertauer Tradition hops give it a fresher, slightly bitter edge, while open fermentation and genuine bottle conditioning keep the classic Schneider yeast character firmly in place. It is still unmistakably Bavarian wheat beer, just with a little more spring in its step.
