« Heat Check is a brand new Quadruple Dry-Hopped Double IPA. Yes you read that correctly, for the first time ever we have QDH’d a beer and you better buckle up for this because we’re bringing the HEAT. We’ve gone berserk with a dry hop of Motueka Hop Kief and Rakau Hop Kief mid-fermentation and late additions of Citra, Motueka, Dolcita and Nectaron Cryo. On the eyes, it pours an insanely thick and milky light yellow, with a creamy and dense white foam. As soon as the can is cracked the aromas start bellowing out. Motueka dominates with lychee, lime and a creamy passionfruit with a hint of deeper stonefruit to come. Take a sip and prepare to be overwhelmed with hop saturation. A ridiculous body that is as silky as we’ve ever produced comes through with intense waves of vibrant passionfruit, the drippiest orange citrus, lychee syrup, mango pulp and sweet peach. The hop notes are intense yet balanced perfectly with the body and weight of the beer, meaning there is no harsh bitterness, just juicy, saturated hop expression.
