Het Boerenerf is a working organic farm and lambic blendery in Huizingen. It is a revival of the former Eylenbosch (Huizingen) brewery under founder and blender Senne Eylenbosch, who started the project on his grandparents’ farm in 2019. The name of the blendery is a Flemish translation of ‘The Farmstead’. This is a blend of one and two year old lambics with a maceration of five different varieties of peach and nectarine – two white peach, two yellow peach and one nectarine. These were hand-picked from orchards in Italy. Each variety is blended separately with lambic to then macerate for months.
