Peated Imperial

Full bodied, low carbonation, warming alcohol, long finish Brewed in 2020 and aged for 12 months in heavily charred first fill American oak rye whisky barrels ex Gospel (Brunswick) to commemorate mid-winter 2021. An intentionally convoluted brew day featuring three brewers, “reiterated mashing”, heavily peated distilling malt, brewing sugars and an extended boil resulted in a big dumb beer that was aged for twelve months in first-fill American oak straight rye whisky barrels.
