Magic Dragon

Dragon fruit, galangal and pandan leaf sour. It’s that time again, time for something less ordinary. Now a Garage tradition, every year Beyond the Pale celebrates New Zealand’s own wonderful Fringe Festival with an unorthodox foray into the weird and wonderful. This year we bring you Magic Dragon, a devised piece combining pitaya roja or red dragon fruit, galangal root and pandan leaf in a sour base to create a beer both distinctively coloured and disarmingly delicious. A peculiar but perfect pairing to a little avant-garde theatre.
