Aiming for a full, silky smooth, chocolatey body to pair with the sweet, nutty flavours of walnut and vanilla, LHG amped up the malt bill, mashing in with a blend of melt-in-the-mouth Jumbo Oats and Maris Otter, Munich, Chocolate and Biscuit malts. With additions of cacao nibs, brown sugar, lactose, walnut essence and vanilla extract to follow, the finished beer is sweet and rich with a gentle roasted malt character, deep layers of walnut and a rounding vanilla sweetness.
