Epic Haze Maze Hazy East Coast

WINNER OF PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD 2021 AT THE WEST COAST IPA CHALLENGE IN WELLINGTON. Having been involved from the beginning of the West Coast IPA Challenge, we at Epic have seen and tasted some of the best IPA’s ever made in NZ. These include some real crackers from ourselves which have won the challenge and People’s Choice multiple times! After playing around with experimental beers over the last few years, using the latest US releases and NZ hops, we decided it was time to dial it back in and make the best IPA we can! With Armageddon being the original winner and the benchmark for the competition, we have looked over the recipe for our inspiration. Armageddon is driven by the punchy, piney and citrusy flavours of Columbus and Centennial hops… so of course we had to use both of them.
