About The Brewery, History And Region Bright Brewery was established in 2005 in the alpine town of Bright in Victoria’s High Country. Founded by Scott Brandon, Fiona Reddaway and friends David and Julia, the brewery began in two modest tin sheds before growing into one of regional Victoria’s best known independent breweries. Bright Brewery remains independently owned and closely connected to its mountain home. The surrounding Victorian Alps, pristine waterways, changing seasons and active outdoor culture all help shape the brewery’s identity and its approach to creating flavourful, character filled beers. The original Affogato Stout was first created for the brewery’s Darker Days winter festival and became a firm favourite. It is made in collaboration with Sixpence Coffee, a local Bright coffee roaster, giving the beer a strong connection to the High Country community. This Salted Caramel edition builds on that much loved combination of coffee and vanilla with an extra layer of indulgent caramel richness.
