The inaugural beer in the new Bridge Road IPA series, « Double California, » is a novel interpretation of the West Coast DIPA. While remaining balanced and extremely drinkable, it is large and bold.Does it taste good?A chinotto and candied orange-heavy citrus scent welcomes the palate before an off-dry taste of tangerine and pineapple juice follows. A lingering bitter end follows the traditional west coast finish of grapefruit pith and a well-integrated residual heat.
