Bridge Road Mayday Hills The Creek Cherry Sour 2020

This annual release is our unique High Country take on a traditional Belgian Lambic ‘Kriek’.It began its life in December 2020, when we filled oak barrels with whole cherries in a Beechworth orchard.The barrels returned to the brewery that afternoon, where they were filled with a golden base beer ahead of an 11-month secondary fermentation.The resultant beer has a vibrant cherry colour, aroma and flavour and a cleansing sour finish.This year, we present it for the first time in large format 750ml bottles. Perfect for festive sharing.
