Braybrooke Harvest Festbier 5.6 %

Braybrooke is based on a working farm; the building that houses the brewery is the old grain store, that would be filled every year around the beginning of September with a harvest of wheat, rapeseed, even barley. They celebrate the harvest with a festival (albeit not this year for obvious reasons…), and brewed this Festbier especially for the occasion. Based on the classic Märzen served at Oktoberfest for nearly a century, this version is a celebration of malt: juicy, rich, with notes of freshly baked bread, honey and marzipan. Adding just enough hops to balance out the malt and keep it from being too sweet, and slowly matured it over 45 days. Pair it with roast pork.
