Melon – Citrus – Vibrant Overlooking the north-western shores of Lake Bolsena, Patrizia Montanari and Massimo Antonuzi tend to four hectares of ungrafted vines rooted in volcanic tufa and sand. This project is a labour of love dedicated to restoring abandoned parcels and preserving old vines planted by Massimo’s grandfather, celebrating local grapes such as Procanico and Greghetto. The duo practice a ‘less is more’ philosophy, utilising no-till organic agriculture to produce vibrant, additive-free wines that serve as an authentic expression of the Lazio terroir.This wine sits on the spectrum between white and orange, lively acidity with notes of melon and citrus fruits and a saline finish.
