Bestowed – Blue Moon

Barrel Aged Blue Moon Bestowed is an Imperial Stout aged for 18 months in a single Willett bourbon barrel. This barrel was an absolute standout during a recent barrel tasting so we wanted to release it on its own without any adjuncts. Our brewery name, Third Moon, refers to a blue moon so this is a special one for us. We are releasing it in celebration of the blue moon happening this Sunday! It’s bold yet elegant at the same time revealing luscious barrel notes of vanilla, chocolate, burnt brown sugar, leather and oak.
