February brings the first inklings that spring time is in the post, but most importantly for any Welsh brewery, it brings the hope and optimism of the Six Nations tournament. The Polly’s team wanted to brew a beer to unite sports fans and beer drinkers alike – the result is Am Byth, a hoppy Welsh red ale born of passion for their home country. Letting the malt lead the way, this beer bursts with biscuity sweetness, before a gentle addition of Amarillo and Simcoe brings the bitterness. All together now – Cymru Am Byth.
