Stout – Imperial / Double Coffee | 8.5% ABV Commercial Description: We brewed this Imperial Coffee Stout in collaboration with our new friends at Cat & Cloud Coffee just up the road in Santa Cruz. Having tasted through their specific blends and singular bean roasts we settled on Ethiopia Kercha Natural. These beans, sourced from a collection of small farms, are processed the natural way- or dried with the entire coffee cherry intact- a time and labor intensive process that yields a unique flavor profile. In this case, providing a prismatic array of dried pome fruit and ripe berry flavors that blooms in the glass and enlivens the dark cacao and caramel notes of our base stout. Each sip is a delicious reminder that there is color and light to be found in the darkness.
