Wild flowers – Black fruit – Tannins Nadia’s family have been growing organic grapes and hazelnuts in the hills outside Asti for generations. This is an even blend of Barbera and Ruché, destemmed and fermented together on skins for two months before being pressed off to a variety of vessels to rest for nine months. Barbera brings pure black and blue fruit and plenty of acidity, while Ruche’s pretty aromatics make this very inviting indeed. A simple, charming wine with a great sense of place.
