« This Schaarbeekse Kriek is not like any other. The maceration with this one took over 25 months instead of the usual twelve, and it was macerated on an oak barrel. The weighted average age of this Schaarbeekse Kriek upon bottling clocks at more than 43 months. The Schaarbeekse sour cherries were harvested with a community of over 75 families in the summer of 2020. We used lambikken from three different barrels and five different brews.
