Boatrocker Ramjet 2020

Aged in freshly emptied whisky barrels from our friends at Starward Whisky Distillery in Port Melbourne, Ramjet 2020 is a big beer with great malt complexity. The barrels are a mix of American oak and French. The result? Layers of complexity, with a touch of vanilla on the palate and some red wine notes that were previously in the Starward barrels making their presence known. The whisky is prominent as usual, giving way to the rich malts, complex oak character and light fruit and roast malt finish. Stored upright in a cool, dark place, Ramjet 2020 will reward careful cellaring of at least 5 years. Over time, the whisky will become less prominent and the barrel type more pronounced, the end result being just sublime.
